Co-presented with the Open Ears Festival of Music and Sound

This special concert will feature the Evergreen Club Gamelan Ensemble and guests performing contemporary music for Indonesian gamelan ensemble. The concert will focus in particular on the work of American composer Lou Harrison (1917-2003) who wrote extensively for gamelan.

The concert will be preceded at 4 pm by the Canadian premiere screening of Lou Harrison: A World of Music, a new documentary about Lou Harrison’s life and work. Check the Open Ears website for more details www.openears.ca.
